AccuWeather needed to evolve their "for business" portal experience. We collaborated with product, technology, sales, marketing, and meteorologist teams – as well as customers, to create an experience that put weather intelligence to work with a flexible and personalized command center that turned alerts into actions.
Outcome:
• Identified an untapped user market – small/medium-sized businesses who needed a more accessible weather monitoring tool
• Designed and validated a development-ready experience that scaled from SMBs to large corporations (through user interviews and testing)
• Created a feature tiering system and in-product monetization strategy
• Collaborated on a design system and operational model
• Secured new business opportunities through strong client relationships and project success
